I’m Xuefan Liao, but you can call me Scout. I hold a bachelor’s degree in digital art.

With a deep passion for cinematography and visual storytelling, I chose to specialize in visual effects after graduation. To me, FX is the art of reconstructing the world's most fundamental forces through algorithms—blending technical precision with creative expression to evoke the most delicate human emotions. There's something incredibly poetic about that.

I specialize in FX simulation and have experience developing pipeline tools with Python, as well as writing procedural solutions in VEX.
